Barometer and Tide Clock Repairs

We supply Fischer Quality German Made Barometers because they are built to last a life time, because they are made with precision mechanisms rather then electrical components -  you know you can rely on them.

In the rare case something should go wrong with your Fischer barometer, tide clock, hygrometer or weather station we offer repair services to get them running smoothly and reliably and carry fit outs and parts for most units.

What to do if your device needs a repair?

Give Cameron a call on New Zealand 0800 693 583 . Australia 1800 136886 . International 0064 3 338 1109 so he can talk you through any specifics, give you an approximate quote and also order the parts you need so he can get your device up and running quickly. 

Is this covered under the warranty?

If you purchased your device from us and it has stopped working while it is under its 2 year warranty you can contact Fischer us directly as we offer a full Workshop repair service for most barometers .[ We do not Repair anything with Mercury ]


Packing with care

We recommend you send the unit in the cardboard packaging it arrived in If this has been discarded it is best use a cardboard box.

  1. Scrunch paper into the box
  2. Place the unit in the box
  3. Then to scrunch paper and place around it to hold it tightly and insulate it from damage
  4. Mark your courier box as fragile - to the courier treats it with care.

What happens next?

When your device arrives Cameron will asses the damage, call you with a quote, get permission to proceed with the repair. Then he will work his magic fixing your device, let you know when its done, and post it pack to you safely and carefully with track and trace to ensure it arrives in better shape than it arrived in.
