What Does a Weatherstation Measure?

What Does a Barometer Measure?

The barometer measures atmospheric pressure, a crucial factor in forecasting. Rising barometric pressure usually predicts better weather, while falling pressure indicates worsening or changing weather conditions. This makes the barometer a vital tool in this weatherstation.

What is Barometric Pressure?

What Does a Hygrometer Measure?

The Hygrometer measures humidity or moisture in the air. For comfortable and healthy indoor living, humidity levels should be between 35% and 65%. This device helps maintain suitable humidity to complement temperature and create an optimal indoor climate.

Temperature is measured by the Thermometer, an essential instrument in this weatherstation. It reads indoor temperature in degrees Fahrenheit for easy understanding. Together with humidity and pressure measurements, it provides a full picture of your home's climate.

Every Fischer instrument comes with a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty. But here’s the truth: these are modern heirlooms, engineered in Germany to last a lifetime. Issues are rare (we hardly ever see them).

And if something does happen? Cameron, our founder, runs the official Fischer service centre right here. If he can’t fix it (spoiler: he usually can), Fischer will. Either way, you’re covered.

Bottom line: you’re buying peace of mind, not just a weather instrument.

If this product displays a yellow pre-order label at the top of the page, it means the instrument is not currently in stock.

Some pieces are crafted to order in Germany, which typically takes 4–6 weeks. In other cases, we may already have new stock on its way to us.

Once your order is placed, Cameron will personally confirm the expected timeframe. You’ll hear from us again as soon as your instrument is ready to be dispatched.

These are precision instruments made to last a lifetime, and we’ll ensure you’re kept informed every step of the way. If you’d ever like an update, you’re always welcome to get in touch.
